NORDEE mounting kit

The fixing kit replaces the lace, Fidlock winch, and original tongue of an EVVO NORDEE snowshoe.

The innovative WINCH Fidlock fastening system is a unique combination of magnetic fastening, tightening, and adjustment. The magnetic force guides the spool into the correct position when reinstalled. The spool can be completely removed, allowing for quick and automatic unspooling, which makes it easier to insert your foot into the NORDEE snowshoe.

The cord is made of a Dyneema® 12-strand braid core and a 16-strand braided polyester high-tenacity outer layer.

The cord has the following characteristics: 2mm diameter, lightweight with a mass of 2.9 g/m, an average strength of 224 kg, a minimum breaking strength of 202 kg, and good resistance to abrasion, water, saltwater, and weather conditions.

Do it yourself! Change the fixing kit yourself:

1. Cut the old lace at the knot in the heel tamis.

2. Remove the lace from all straps.

3. Insert the new lace and secure the knot in the front eyelet.

4. Pass the lace through the eyelets and the new Fidlock winch up to the heel tamis. The Fidlock winch will align automatically with the markers on each lace strand.

5. Tie the two strands under the heel tamis with a double fisherman's knot or equivalent, and you're done!

The kit includes one pair of laces (2 meters for size M and 2.25 meters for size L), 2 Fidlock winches, and 2 tongues.
